Where to Celebrate Qatar National Day

There are huge events happenng for Qatar National Day for 2022 as it also coincides with the closing ceremony and final match of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™. 

Here are multiple activities celebrating Qatar National Day 2022 around the city.

Where to Celebrate Qatar National Day

Music-lovers are in for a treat as they can attend great music festivals on the December 18. The MDLBEAST presents Aravia and the Daydream Festival are set to have an interesting lineup of artists and would be another fun place to enjoy the festive vibe in the crowd.

MDLBEAST Aravia artist lineup for December 18 includes SheiQ, El Fuego, Moudi AlShamrani, and Afrojack. Tickets can be bought at MDLBeast website.

Daydream Festival  has a lineup of different artists on December 18, including Tiesto, Chuckie, Jonas Blue, Rave Republic, Marciano, and more. Tickets can be bought on Q-tickets website.

The Mall of Qatar has announced several activities for Qatar National Day.

Stage shows that include Ardha and flag dancers, oriental music performances and more. Shows will begin at 3 pm on 360-degree revolving stage at Oasis.

Kids' activities are set to entertain little ones with Arabic mascots, henna-application corners, face-painting and flag distribution alongside arts and crafts. All of this begins at 3 pm.

Additionally, stage contests & prizes will also be held for four days December 15--18 (8--9.30 pm for first three days and 3--5 pm on December 18).

Doha Corniche

Where to Celebrate Qatar National Day

Celebration will start at the Doha Corniche with the morning National Day Parade and the air show which can be viewed as a live telecast on TV or other areas of Doha. The Corniche during the morning is closed to the public as attendance is only for high-ranking officials such as HH Amir Sheikh Tamim, His Excellencies Ministers of State, foreign diplomats, and other officials.

In the evening, the corniche awaits the public where fans and residents can enjoy the spectacular fireworks, drone show, and water show that can be viewed from anywhere on the 6 km stretch and other areas in proximity.

There are many  F&B outlets as well as other amenities, ensuring a hearty time out with friends and family.

Msheireb Downtown

Where to Celebrate Qatar National Day

In the heart of Doha, Msheireb Downtown has proven itself to be another attraction for locals and fans alike with several activities lined up for National Day. Divided into three zones: Baraha Zone, Sikka Zone, and Heritage Zone, the activities are diverse and sure to entertain the masses.

The Barahat Msheireb area will host the World Cup final match screening and has an ongoing Forever Valentino exhibition at M7. Match screening is free if you book a table and dine at any of the restaurants in the area.

The Heritage Zone will feature activities that showcase Qatari heritage and culture. 

The Sikka Zone is where there are a lot of fun activities for everyone including exhibtions, games, selfie-spots, street art installations and more. There is the Al Sikka International festivalCONMEBOL—Tree of Dreams, Quest Gaming District, Onside Doha’s pop-up section, Intaj exhibition

Katara Cultural Village

Katara Cultural Village has announced several activities, exhibitions, and workshops for Qatar National Day celebration, which will begin on December 16—18 at Katara Esplanade. The celebrations will include events and activities to amaze spectators including stunning fireworks display, Qatari music, traditional Ardha dance, and the military show.

The Qatar Street Art Festival and the Qatari Traditonal Symphony Show are also currently ongoing.

The Aspire Pavilion's activities include sports games, cultural shows, and even an art and sports exhibition. The traditional Ardah will also be performed as two shows on Qatar National Day.
