Kuwait's Athlete Wins Gold Medal at 2024 Paralympics

Kuwaiti athlete Faisal Sorour won a gold medal for his country at the 2024 Paris Paralympics on Saturday, Sep. 7 in the men's shotput-F63 category.

Sorour covered a distance of 15.31m during the competition. This is Sorour's second Paralympics medal after he secured a bronze medal in the 2020 Tokyo Games.


British athlete Aled Davies covered a distance of 15.10m and secured a silver medal while Tom Habscheid from Luxembourg covered a distance of 14.97m and secured a bronze medal. 

The athlete secured the second medal at the 2024 Paris Paralympics after Faisal Al-Rajehi secured a bronze medal in the men's 5000m race.
