Kuwait's Aid Plane Delivers 40 Tons to Lebanon

Kuwait continues its unwavering support for Lebanon, as the sixth air bridge plane, carrying 40 tons of essential food supplies, medical items, and blankets, landed in Beirut on Monday. This aid initiative is part of the "Kuwait Beside You" campaign, launched under the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, aiming to address the displacement crisis and its repercussions.

A Coordinated Humanitarian Effort

The Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) is leading this initiative, working closely with the Lebanese Red Cross (LRC) to ensure the aid reaches those in need. Advisor Yassin Al-Majid, Chargé d'Affaires to Lebanon, emphasized Kuwait's commitment to providing timely support to the Lebanese people during these challenging times.

Gratitude From Lebanon

Lebanese Red Cross relief coordinator Yusuf Botros expressed deep gratitude on behalf of Lebanon and its people for Kuwait's generosity. "After the ceasefire deal took effect on November 27, delivering aid to villages and towns affected by the Israeli occupation forces has become essential," Botros told KUNA.

Rebuilding Lives After the Ceasefire

With the ceasefire in place, the focus has shifted to humanitarian relief and rebuilding efforts in affected areas. Kuwait’s swift response has provided much-needed hope and resources to those grappling with the aftermath of displacement and destruction.

Kuwait’s efforts highlight the power of international solidarity in times of crisis, reaffirming its role as a steadfast ally in supporting Lebanon's recovery journey.
