The 2025 FEI World Cup Qualifier in Kuwait concluded on January 4, 2025, after four days of action-packed showjumping. Riders from Kuwait and the region showcased their skills across the CSI3-W Big, Medium, and Small Tours, with valuable points at stake for the prestigious FEI World Cup Final.

Saudi Star Alrajhi Takes Top Honors

Saudi Arabia's Abdulrahman Alrajhi claimed victory in the CSI3-W Big Tour Final 150 cm event. Partnering with his horse Bravour, Alrajhi delivered two flawless rounds, clocking 78.70 seconds in Round 1 and a swift 54.11 seconds in Round 2.

Kuwaiti Riders Shine Bright

Kuwaiti equestrians made their mark with standout performances. Ali Al-Khorafi secured second place in the Big Tour Final aboard Qualifying de Hus, completing penalty-free rounds with times of 81.58 seconds and 56.52 seconds in the two rounds.

In the CSI3-W Big Tour 140 cm Two-Phase event, Fahad Al-Faleh claimed victory riding Backstage d’Alk. He posted a Phase 1 time of 46.87 seconds and an impressive 32.05 seconds in Phase 2, earning the top spot among 16 competitors.

Local Talent on Display

The tournament also saw remarkable performances from Kuwaiti riders, including Yara Al-Hunaidi, who secured third place in the Big Tour Final with Valmira. Abrar Al-Musallam, Annaz Al-Annaz, and Abdulrahman Al-Fuzae added to Kuwait’s medal tally with stellar displays across various categories.

While international competitors like Antonio Murruzzu (Italy) and Nick Channing-Williams (Great Britain) brought strong performances, Kuwaiti riders dominated the podium, showcasing the country’s growing prominence in the equestrian world.
