Kuwait Sends 4th Airlift Flight to Lebanon

Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) has announced the departure of its fourth humanitarian aid flight to Lebanon, continuing the nation’s strong support for those in need. The flight, which departed from Kuwait’s air bridge, carries 40 tonnes of essential aid supplies, including food, medicine, and other relief items, as reported by KUNA.

Solidarity with Lebanon

KRCS Chairman, Ambassador Khaled Al Maqamis, shared that these aid flights are a reflection of Kuwait’s deep solidarity with Lebanon, especially at a time when the country faces urgent humanitarian challenges. The Lebanese people are in desperate need of food, medical supplies, and assistance in light of the ongoing crisis.

Al Maqamis emphasized that KRCS is actively monitoring the situation and will continue to provide support to alleviate the suffering caused by the difficult circumstances in Lebanon. He further assured that Kuwait will spare no effort in extending aid and standing by Lebanon during these trying times.

The ongoing humanitarian operation is a clear demonstration of Kuwait’s commitment to helping Lebanon. Al Maqamis expressed his heartfelt gratitude to various officials and organizations involved in the operation. Special thanks were given to the Ministry of Defense, Acting Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Social Affairs. Additionally, Al Maqamis acknowledged the donors, employees, and volunteers of KRCS for their hard work in making the humanitarian air bridge operation from Abdullah Al-Mubarak Air Base possible.

Kuwait’s dedication to providing essential aid during times of need shows the country’s unwavering support for Lebanon, reinforcing their bond of solidarity. The aid flights are expected to continue, ensuring that Lebanon receives the necessary support as it navigates this challenging period.
