Promoting Tax Education: A Long-Standing Initiative

Interestingly, while taxes remain off the table for salaries and goods, the Ministry is continuing its long-standing efforts to promote tax education in schools. Since 2005, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, this initiative has aimed to enhance tax and financial literacy among middle and high school students. The program falls under the Tax Media Department, which operates within the Tax Administration at the Ministry of Finance. The initiative reflects a broader commitment to educating the next generation about financial responsibility, in partnership with various state institutions.

The Ministry also clarified that both foreign and Kuwaiti companies are subject to the same tax laws, ensuring a uniform application of regulations.
