Among the pending cases, 9,803 citizens currently reside abroad. Brigadier Al-Mutairi shared these statistics during a symposium addressing the legal, technical, and social dimensions of biometric fingerprinting.

Residents Face December Deadline

For Kuwait’s residents, the compliance rate stands at 87%, with 470,978 individuals—59% male and 41% female—still pending. Authorities have set the deadline for resident compliance at the end of December 2024.
