Shaheen Shah Afridi and His Wife are Blessed with Baby Boy

Pakistani pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi and his wife Ansha Afridi have been blessed with a baby boy.

They have named him Aliyaar. The Pakistani cricketer shared the news on his Instagram with a picture of the new parents holding their son's hands.

Aliyaar Afridi was born on Saturday, Aug. 24. Afridi wrote in the caption of his post, "I will forever be thankful to my wife for all the pain and sufferings she had to endure. She is literally the support system of our little family."

He also wrote, "I am grateful for all the lovely wishes and prayers coming our way. Remember my little family in your prayers."

The news of the couple expecting their first child was revealed in July this year after Afridi missed Pakistan's test series with Bangladesh.
