Saudi Arabia Stands by Kuwait Following Military Crash

On Thursday, Saudi Arabia extended its heartfelt solidarity to Kuwait following a tragic incident during a joint military exercise. Two Kuwaiti army personnel lost their lives in a live ammunition drill, while two others sustained injuries.

The incident took place on Wednesday during a night shooting exercise as part of a military collaboration between Kuwait and the United States. The victims were Major Sergeant Ahmad Farhan Harat and Sergeant Musaad Dhahi Saleh, who were both laid to rest on Thursday in Sulaibikhat Cemetery, as reported by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

In response, Saudi Arabia offered its deepest condolences to the families of the deceased, as well as to the government and people of Kuwait. The Kingdom expressed its wishes for the injured soldiers' swift recovery.

To ensure a thorough understanding of the accident, special technical teams, including personnel from the US military, have been assigned to investigate the incident, KUNA stated.

The tragic event highlights the risks associated with military exercises, but it also underscores the strong bond between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, with the Kingdom standing by its neighbor in this difficult time.
