Ramadan Sports Festival at Aspire Zone

During the holy month of Ramadan, Aspire Zone organizes sports activities and competitions for different age groups.

The festival includes ten different events ranging from sports competitions to physical fitness challenges, which cater to the interests of sport and activity enthusiasts of all ages and abilities, including men, women, and people with special needs.

Aspire Zone sorts out the 10th version of the Ramadan Sports Festival (RSF), which will include exercises that will draw in an expansive crowd as well as accomplices. The celebration highlights ten occasions ranging from sports rivalries to actual wellness challenges, as these occasions suit the interests of sports and movement sweethearts, including men, women and people with special needs.

The Aspire Zone Foundation has reported the kick-off of enlistment for groups and people with eight unique games during the Ramadan Sports Festival under the support of Lulu Hypermarket, Vodafone Qatar, Suhail Industrial Holding Group and the Run Events Group. Registration is now open to individuals who wish to participate in the 12-day festival. Under men's competitions, the following activities will take place: Beach Volleyball from April 6 to 10 at Aspire Park, Sand Pitch; Football, from April 9 to 13 at Pitch 10; Basketball, from April 12 to 17 at Aspire Dome, Multi-purpose Hall 1; and Football 4 x 4, from April 13 to 17 at Football Public Pitch, the targeted group here are 24 years below; meanwhile, for the other sports, it is open to 18 years and above. For the women's competitions, the categories include Basketball which will take place from April 6 to 9, while the finals are from April 14 to 15 at Ladies Sports Hall; Volleyball, from April 6 to 9, and the finals are from April 12 to 13; Futsal, from April 10 to 15. All categories will be on teams and will be held at Ladies Sports Hall, and individuals 18 years above can participate. Table Tennis, meanwhile, will be the activity for those with special needs. It will be held on April 11 at Aspire Dome, Multi-purpose Hall 1.

The only and exclusive festival in Qatar, according to Abdullah Aman Al-Khater, director of events and facilities at the Aspire Zone Foundation and chairman of the festival's organizing committee, includes all sports simultaneously in open stadiums and under the Aspire Dome, including events for women and youth, as well as events dedicated to the challenge of disability.

Al-Khater went on to say, "Every year, we strive to lay the groundwork for more sports and physical activities that are well-received by the general public, both individuals and families, by diversifying sports activities to cater to a wider range of people in Qatar, not just during Ramadan, but throughout the year. The foundation draws on the collective experiences of its children to shape events in a way that reflects the public's desires."

Aspire Zone has numerous open doors for families and visitors; it has two inns on the property: Al Shoula Hotel in Doha, a residency for guests ranging from ardent supporters to those motivated by wellness and health. Al-Aziziya Hotel is also located within Aspire and features a stunning Victorian external design as well as vibrant interior designs. Villaggio Mall is also a great destination for families because it offers shopping, refreshments, amusement, movies, and indoor sports parks.
