Ramadan Recipes: Saloona

Saloona, a classic Arabian stew, is a popular home-cooked meal typically made with chicken (dejaj), though it can also be made with other types of meat, vegetables, or fish. The term 'saloon' comes from the French word 'salon', which means a large room and was originally used to describe luxury train carriages. The term was later adopted by British carmakers to describe cars with an enclosed passenger compartment.
