  • Ingredients of Easy Tomato Pasta

Sauce

2 ripe tomatoes
1 tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste
¼ pasta water

Beef

250 grams of ground beef
1 onion
½ pack of spaghetti
1 tbsp basil pesto paste
  • Method & Directions of Easy Tomato Pasta

    • 15 Minutes
  1. Cook the spaghetti

    Boil your spaghetti according to the package instructions. Strain and save half a cup of the pasta water.
  2. Blend the Sauce

    In a blender, mix tomatoes, olive oil, garlic cloves, tomato paste, dried parsley, oregano, chili powder, salt, pepper, and ½ cup of pasta water.
  3. Cook the Beef

    In a hot oiled pan, cook the chopped onion until translucent then add the beef to it. Season lightly with salt and pepper then add in the tomato sauce. Bring to a boil then add cooked spaghetti and basil pesto paste. Serve with grated parmesan cheese and enjoy.
