Beef Wraps

500 grams of ground beef
Pita bread, or any flatbread of your choice
Fresh arugula
Brie cheese, sliced

Blueberry Jam

150 grams blueberry
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
¼ tsp salt

Caramelized Onions

2 large onions, sliced
A pinch of salt
2 tsp apple cider vinegar

  1. Make the Blueberry Jam

    Add the fresh blueberries, lemon juice, sugar, and salt to a hot pan over low heat. Bring to a boil, then smash using a masher or fork.
  2. Prepare the Caramelized Onions

    In a large pan over high heat, add the sliced onions with salt and cook for 10 minutes. Reduce heat, add apple cider vinegar, and cook for 30 minutes while stirring them every 10 minutes.
  3. Cook the Beef

    Pull the pita bread apart and press one side with the seasoned ground beef, adding salt and pepper to taste. Heat a large, buttered pan over medium heat and cook the pita with the beef for about 7 minutes until the beef is fully cooked. Flip the pita, then add slices of brie cheese on top of the beef. Toast the other part of the pita bread on the top side until golden and crispy.
  4. Assemble the Sandwich

    Top the cooked beef with a generous spread of blueberry jam, followed by fresh arugula and caramelized onions. Once layered, cover with the top part of the toasted pita bread. Press gently to combine the flavors and then enjoy.
