Lidded-container salads have become quite popular recently. The concept is simple: toss all the ingredients into a container, cover it, and shake well until everything is combined. This sweet snack combines the flavors of a Snickers bar—peanuts and chocolate—with apple slices and yogurt, creating a filling and delicious treat for a post-Iftar snack or Suhoor.

Apple Snickers Salad

2 green apples
½ cup yogurt
2 tbsp peanut butter
⅓ cup chocolate chips
⅓ cup roasted peanuts
A drizzle of caramel sauce

    Using a mandoline slicer, thinly slice your apples and place them in a lidded container. Add yogurt, peanut butter, chocolate chips, roasted peanuts and a drizzle of caramel sauce. Cover and shake thoroughly until everything is combined. Enjoy!
  2. For a low-calorie snack, you can use high-protein yogurt, sugar-free peanut butter, and dark chocolate chips.
