Qatar Charity Starts “Hajj Journey” Event for Children and Families

Qatar Charity implemented the "Hajj Journey" event at the "Hayat Plaza" complex, to familiarize children and families in Qatar with the pillars of Hajj and the Sunnah of the sacrifice in attractive illustrative ways.

This event is part of the educational and awareness activities accompanying the implementation of the Qatar Charity campaign "Make them happy with your sacrifice" and coinciding with the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah and the Hajj season in cooperation with the "Hayat Plaza" complex.

The "Hajj Journey" event is a journey of living for children through the design of models for the rituals of Hajj, and it contains several corners and workshops such as the information competition corner, drawing and coloring workshops, and handicrafts, in addition to the Hajj Journey box corner, which contains models of the Hajj rituals, which is the corner that allows families to buy that box.

The event comes as a contribution from Qatar Charity in introducing children and youth to the obligation of Hajj and its pillars, through illustrative models of all the rites of Hajj and performing these rites in practice, after wearing the Ihram clothes, as well as a reminder of the virtues of the desired actions in the ten days of Dhul Hijjah.

The event focuses on the practical application in a simplified manner that appeals to children, to familiarize them with everything related to the rituals of Hajj and the ritual sacrifice through models, workshops, and various competitions, with the participation of a number of volunteers who provide the necessary explanation for the Hajj journey in both Arabic and English.

The event, which started last Sunday until Thursday 7 July, is an important opportunity for families to take their children to spend a useful time, share the joy of knowledge and discover the pilgrimage journey.

The "Dhul-Hijjah Events" witnessed a remarkable attendance of children and their families, and won the admiration of the public for the excellence of its activities and the impact it had,

were Volunteer Noura Ali Al-Subaie said: I volunteered to gain the divine reward and contribute to drawing joy on children's faces, stressing that the event is a brilliant gesture because it helps children gain knowledge in attractive and inspiring ways and the event's workshops are designed in a way that suits their age groups.

As for Mrs. Umm Abdullah, the mother of one of the participating children, she expressed her happiness with the participation of her children in the event and expressed her admiration for the simplified explanation that conveyed information to the children's minds easily, praising Qatar Charity's activities, which are characterized by innovative creative ideas.

She added: The event's workshops presented the Hajj ritual for children in an attractive educational format and contributed to instilling Islamic values in them and introducing them to the rituals of their true religion, noting that she and her children benefited from this knowledge journey.

for her part, Mrs. Umm Muhammad said: What I liked the most about the event is its practical aspect, which cements the information in the mind and makes it easier for the child to learn the rituals.
