Over 500 Brands Including Qatari Designers to Exibit at DJWE 2022

The 18th Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE) 2022 will include one-of-a-kind creations from Qatari designers as well as new worldwide luxury brands.

DJWE will also showcase talented And successful Qatari designers and highlight the cultural tradition of beauty and workmanship. It will feature over 500 products, with local designers, foreign designers, worldwide brands, and jewellery connoisseurs all gearing up for the exhibit's return after a one-year absence.

The event will take place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) in West Bay from May 9 to 12.

According to Qatar Tourism, the high-profile meeting for jewellery connoisseurs, international markets, and ambitious designers will continue to be the heart of elegance, where exclusivity, beauty, art, history, and distinctive workmanship join together to convey the fascinating tale behind each diamond.

Visit Qatar's website has opened registration for the show, which is free of charge. The 18th edition will feature approximately 65 exhibitors from more than ten nations, as well as 500 well-known international companies.

Turkey and India have their own pavilions with five and 18 exhibitors, respectively, as well as workshops with jewellery and watch specialists. This year's ad is fronted by Indian actress Alia Bhatt.

Previous editions attracted over 129 exhibitors from 14 nations, as well as 32,031 visitors from 175 countries, according to Visit Qatar. The pandemic forced the cancellation of last year's show. This is one of the country's two major events in May.

Prior to the exhibition, the Doha Corniche will host a four-day Eid Festival, which will include the country's first huge balloon parade, marching bands, daily fireworks, carnival activities, and food booths.

DJWE 2020 included over 451 brands of jewellery and watches from 25 countries, with 74 international and 53 local exhibitors.

The event runs from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on May 9, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on May 10, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on May 11 and 12, and 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on May 13.

Qatar Business Events Agency is in charge of organizing the event. Qatar National Bank (official bank sponsor), Qatar Airways (official airline partner), and Al Fardan Automotive are among the sponsors and partners (official car sponsor).
