Kuwait Urges Priority Humanitarian Action in Gaza & Lebanon

Kuwait’s ambassador to UN agencies in Geneva, Nasser Al-Hayen, made a strong plea on Monday during the 34th International Conference of the Red Cross and Red Crescent. He urged the international community to prioritize a response to the catastrophic humanitarian crises unfolding in both the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.

Urgent Call for Action

Ambassador Al-Hayen's statement highlights the severity of the situation, emphasizing that the conference is taking place at an exceptionally sensitive time. The ongoing Israeli aggression, marked by violence and the forced displacement of civilians—particularly women and children—adds urgency to this call for action.

Al-Hayen condemned the "heinous crimes" perpetrated by the occupying forces in the Middle East, specifically pointing to the dire circumstances faced by people in Lebanon and Palestine.
