This month, summer programs and activities were launched in a number of youth centers, girls' forums, and youth committees in sports clubs of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, The summer program in some centers will continue until August 20.

The aim of organizing the summer program is to develop skills and hone talents, and to work on discovering new young talents, As the activities held within the summer program target adolescents and young people of both sexes and mothers up to 45 years.

The summer programs include sports activities, educational and religious lectures, in addition to religious lectures, and foreign trips in cooperation with a number of youth centers.

Lahdan Saqr Al Muhannadi, Head of Al Thakhira Youth Center, said: The center started its summer activities on June 10, which includes many diverse activities that help young people to stimulate their youth energies, pointing out that the center started its activities with the swimming activity that was held in cooperation with the Simaisma and Al Daayen Youth Center, and that Organizing a swimming festival that included more than 80 participants from different age groups, starting from 6 years old to 15 years old.

Al-Mohannadi added, that the center offers many daily activities that consist of various sports, including "Karate, kickboxing, and freestyle wrestling, which were launched in conjunction with the summer activity, and these activities will continue until the end of the year."

Al-Mohannadi explained that the center will organize many foreign trips to visit the landmarks of the State of Qatar to familiarize the affiliates with them, including "Msheireb Museums, Souq Waqif, Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Museum, and Qatar Museums", explaining that the summer activity was not limited to that only, but the center organized A symposium for Arab youth in celebration of Arab Youth Day entitled “The Role of Youth in Volunteer Work to Address Crises.” In the next few days, the Center will make a trip to the Crimean Island in Al Thakhira using kayaks, in addition to other recreational trips to Qatar Bowling Center, in addition to organizing many seminars and lectures on Arab Youth Day and International Youth Day.

In keeping with the events that will be held in the country and to celebrate the blessed Eid Al-Adha, Lahdan Al-Mohannadi explained that the center prepared to celebrate the blessed Eid Al-Adha by organizing and holding the Eid Al-Adha Festival, which contains many events and activities that suit everyone, noting that all participants in the summer activity will be honored during the conclusion of the activities summer.

For her part, Alt Haya Al-Kubaisi, Director of Al-Majd Center for Girls, said: Al-Majd Center for Girls announced the launch of the summer program entitled "Summer of Glory", which began its activities on the 20th of this month and will continue until the 20th of next August, pointing out that the summer program for the girls of glory targets the age groups from 8 years and up to 45 years old.
