Work Permits to be Issued After Approval of Certificates

The manpower authority will issue work permits only after the approval of academic certificates, according to the new proposal.

Kuwait's Public Authority of Manpower (PAM) has received a proposal which allows the issuance of work permits after the approval of academic certificates and ratification from official authorities and the Kuwaiti embassies from outside of the country.
The proposal also suggested having an accredited professional experience certificate approved by the relevant authorities for each profession.
The professional experience can be a minimum of three years for some professions and up to 5 years for other professions.
The proposed recruitment process will take place in stages and the first stage will target medical, educational, engineering, legal, and financial professions.
