On Wednesday, World Health Organization (WHO) chief Tedros Ghebreyesus praised Kuwait’s efforts in sustaining a high-quality healthcare system.

The WHO chief stated that the country had shown great success in combating non-communicable diseases through effective treatment and implementing preventive measures.

The country has exerted great efforts to take its healthcare system to another level, said Ghebreyesus to Kuwait’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Nasser Al-Hein.

The Kuwaiti Diplomat also lauded his country’s great affiliation with WHO, stating that the mutual collaboration has yielded fruitful results in different sectors.
