Kuwait's Civil Service Commission (CSC) has introduced its new regulations for hiring expatriate teachers in Kuwait with the country's Ministry of Information.
What are the New Regulations for Expat Teachers in Kuwait?
The new regulations are:
- The expat teacher must have 'very good' teaching certifications in addition to the required academic qualifications.
- If the expat teacher has acquired academic qualifications from outside of Kuwait, these qualifications need to be documented by Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Why did the CSC Introduce These New Regulations?
Some sources have confirmed that 90 percent of expat employees in Kuwait do not meet the requirements for employment set out by the Ministry of Education.
This development led to the CSC introducing new regulations for the employment of expat teachers.
