The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation confirmed the accuracy of the recently announced figures on the number of citizens working in the private sector, including the increase in the percentage of citizens working in the private sector in 2022 compared to 2020 by 27%, and the employment rate of 100 citizens in the private sector per day, as more people are currently working in this vital sector.
The Ministry stated that its digital system linked to 52 federal and local government agencies contributes effectively to following up on the employment conditions of citizens working in the private sector and accurately counting their numbers.
It should be noted that all work permits for employees in the private sector, including work permits for citizens, are issued through the Ministry's digital system.
The Ministry stressed that its smart and field inspection system constitutes an additional mechanism for monitoring companies and following up on the conditions of citizens working in the private sector.
