Two individuals of a notorious gang were arrested in Mumbai, India on Tuesday, Apr. 16 for firing at Bollywood star Salman Khan's home.
These two men shot at Khan's first-floor apartment during the early hours on Sunday, Mar. 14 in Bandra, Mumbai.
There were several rounds of firing before the culprits fled the location. Khan was home when the firing took place.
The culprits, aged 24 and 21, were arrested in Gujarat and were found to be members of the Bishnoi gang.
The Bishnoi gang has been accused of various murder and extortion rackets. Khan has been a target of the group since 1998 for shooting two blackbucks on a recreational hunting trip.
The two culprits were located near a temple, according to the Kutch district police officer Mahendra Bagaria.
On Tuesday, Salman Khan also received a visit from the Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to inquire after his well-being after the incident.
