The trailer for Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut's historical political drama 'Emergency' released today, which features the actress as the late Indian politician Indira Gandhi.  

The film will be released in cinemas worldwide on Friday, Sep. 6. The trailer shows how the late Indian Prime Minister handled her relationship with her father, the late Indian PM Jawaharlal Nehru. 

The first look of 'Emergency' also reveals how Gandhi dealt with wars and political unrest in India during her governance. 

Other than Ranaut, the film features Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, and the late Satish Kaushik in pivotal roles.

Zee Studios and Manikarnika Films have produced the film, while Ranaut has also directed the film. Ritesh Shah has written the screenplay and Sanchit Balhara has composed the music of the film.
