Traffic violations will now be recorded digitally in Kuwait after the Ministry of Interior launched on Sunday a new app to book motorists in the country.

On September 1st, the Rased app will go live, enabling Kuwaiti authorities to electronically impose fines.

The Sahel unified government app for electronic services will promptly notify motorists who are found breaking traffic laws.

Additionally, drivers will be able to see the details of their traffic violations on the Ministry of Interior's website or mobile app.

For their safety, the ministry advised drivers to follow the law, whether they were locals or foreigners, and to frequently check its website or the Sahel app to see if any violations have been reported.
