The Combined Task Force (CTF 150), which represents one of the four Task Forces, namely Task Force (CTF-151) and Task Force (CTF-152), in addition to Task Force (CTF-153), led by the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, implemented an operation to intercept and search a boat in the Gulf of Oman through the US ship "Glen Harris", which ended with the seizure and confiscation of 3,330 kilograms of hashish and heroin, valued at $20 million.
The tasks of the Naval Duty Forces are to implement maritime security operations in large areas of operations estimated at about (200) million square meters; it includes the Gulf of Oman, the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean, and the Gulf of Aden; This is for the purpose of combating terrorism and the activities supporting it, such as human smuggling, drugs, weapons, and coal trade.
