The Launch of "Your Summer Is Safe" Program
On the morning of Sunday, July 17, the activities of the "First Summer Gathering - Your Summer is safe" program was launched, which is organized by the "You are Important" initiative of the Stadium Security Department of the Facilities and Entities Security Department.
The program will continue until the 28th of July, and it targets 35 children from 10 to 14 years old, from the children of the administration’s employees and the supporting bodies. During the program period, they will visit the General Department of Coasts and Borders Security and the General Department of Civil Defense, and visit Aspire Academy, Al Lusail Shooting Range, Khalifa Tennis and Squash Complex, Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, Khalifa International Stadium, Al Janoub Stadium, Al Arabi Sports Club and Qatar Charity.
Brigadier Dr. Ali Khajim Al-Athbi, Director of the Establishments and Organizations Security Department, gave a speech in which he indicated that this gathering targets children of this age group, and comes within the framework of the Department's keenness to enhance societal rapprochement between the administration and this age segment, This is in order to achieve the goals of the "You Are Important" initiative towards creating a conscious, educated generation that is familiar with security and safety procedures, as this program is a first step for their participation in securing future sporting events and serving the country, and for preparing them well for the upcoming events will host by the state, including the 2030 Asian Games.
He explained that this program is considered a nucleus for upcoming programs; Through the scheduled visits to this gathering, we aspire to provide our participants with security, sports, and cultural knowledge.
And he concluded his speech by thanking the organizers of this program, wishing them success and our participating children to benefit from this summer gathering for benefits.
First Lieutenant Jaber Salem Al-Athba, Assistant Supervisor of the "You Are Important" initiative, gave a speech in which he indicated their keenness to make the gathering program, which includes lectures, workshops, various sports games, and visits, an opportunity for participants to gain experience and skills, educate them and introduce them to security and safety requirements, Where these sites and entities were selected based on joint cooperation with the initiative, and through these visits, the principles of security and safety will be explained in the events that these authorities hosted in the past, calling on the participants to the importance of adhering to the precautionary measures decided by the Ministry of Public Health, cooperating with the supervisors of this program and contributing in making it a success.
It should be noted that the first day of the program included two lectures, the first of which was given by Lieutenant Muhammad Al-Nemah from the Juvenile Police Department, in which he spoke about virtuous morals, positive behaviors, the need to preserve state property, sports facilities, good companionship, and the use of leisure time to increase knowledge and science, cooperation with others, adherence to laws and regulations and cooperate with the supervisors in this assembly.
The second lecture was presented by Ms. Heba Ali Mohamed, Volunteer Officer at the Qatar Olympic Committee, in which she addressed the importance of volunteering, its benefits, objectives, types, and methods, in addition to the main points for choosing volunteers, the rights and responsibilities of volunteers, and guidelines for volunteer work.
