Dubai steps into the future with a cashier-free contactless store in Mall of the Emirates.
The newly opened Carrefour City+ customers can effortlessly pick up their items by simply using their phones making it the first of its kind in the region.
Stocking over 1,300 items ranging from beverages, snacks to food-to-go meals and essentials.
This new retail concept was inaugurated by His Excellency Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence. It opened its doors on September 6, 2021.
Keeping in mind the COVID-19 safety regulations, consumers can effortlessly breeze through their shopping with only ten shoppers a time in the store.

The store access is available via the current MAF Carrefour App and a QR code needs to be generated before entry into the store. It’s located on the first floor of the Mall of the Emirates and is open daily from 9 am to midnight.
