The Cabinet approved the official holiday agenda for workers in the government and private sectors for the year 2023.
This decision comes within the framework of regulating workflow in the public and private sectors, to ensure that all individuals working in various sectors and citizen and resident families can plan holidays in advance, organize special activities, and support the national economy in its various sectors.
The agenda of official holidays for the public and private sectors for the year 2023 includes the New Year's holiday January 1, 2023, the Eid al-Fitr holiday from Ramadan 29 to Shawwal 3 1444 AH, the Arafah day on Dhu al-Hijjah 9 1444 AH, the Eid al-Adha holiday from 10 to 12 Dhu al-Hijjah 1444 AH, and the Islamic New Year on July 21, 2023, the Prophet’s Birthday holiday on September 29, 2023, and the National Day holiday from December 2 to December 3, 2023.
