In the group stage match between Afghanistan and Uganda for the T20 World Cup, the former won with 183 runs, overpowering Uganda by 125 runs.
The match took place at the Providence Stadium in Guyana on Tuesday, Jun. 4.
Uganda made their debut in the T20 World Cup this year, but their players were all out at 58 runs only.
The team decided to bowl first and they were no match for Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran.
Gurbaz scored 76 with four fours and four sixers, but came off after 45 balls. Nonetheless, his opening partnership with Zadran is what helped Afghanistan win the match because Zadran scored 70 in 46 balls, featuring nine fours and one six.

Gurbaz and Zardan's opening partnership was the second-highest in men's T20 World Cup history.
Uganda's Captain Brian Masaba took two wickets and Cosmas Kyewuta also took two, while Alpesh Ramjani took one.
Masaba made history by becoming the first Ugandan player to take a World Cup wicket.

However, when Uganda came to bat, Fazalhaq Farooqi took five wickets in total, which also helped Afghanistan defeat Uganda.
Naveen Ul Haq also took two wickets while Mujeeb Ur Rahman had Simon Ssesazi caught by Farooqi.
Afghanistan really gave Uganda a heavy defeat!
