The newest effort from Snoonu will allow all delivery bikes, whether they are driven by Snoonu riders or not, to relax and cool off in between deliveries.

In an effort to give delivery workers a place to stop and rehydrate, Qatar's top IT start-up has introduced Snoonu-branded "Chill Spots" throughout the nation.

Each Chill Spot, created and run by Snoonu, has seating, charging stations, water fountains, and a refrigerator stocked with snacks and soft beverages. Snacks, drinks, and access to the chill spots are all free.

The positions are offered nationwide and are part of the company's dedication to the welfare of its employees. Additionally, it guarantees the comfort and safety of bikers traveling through Doha year-round as well as during the summer.

The business received accolades from the public last year after launching its "no riders under the sun" campaign.

The summertime heat is difficult on bikers and can cause dehydration and heatstroke, endangering anyone on the road's health and safety. According to Hamad Al Hajri, CEO & Founder of Snoonu, "We spare no effort to protect our riders and offer the greatest work environment.

The most recent project fits in with Snoonu's ongoing efforts to develop creative answers to enhance working conditions for its "superheroes."

"We decided to set up 'Chill Spots' around Qatar to allow our delivery drivers to relax and shield themselves from the heat between deliveries in support of our superheroes over the summer," the statement continued.

Snoonu is the First Qatari startup to expand regionally

Al-Hajri continued, "We are incredibly grateful to all of our partners who helped us with this ground-breaking effort aimed at safeguarding not only Snoonu riders but also all members of Qatar's bicycle community.

The first one-stop-shop for start-ups and SMEs in Qatar, Snoonu, provides online shopping, lifestyle, food, and grocery delivery as well as third-party logistical services.

The business just disclosed that it has paid $10 million for the well-known Omani delivery platform Akeed. As it expands into the Omani market, this is the startup's first acquisition outside of Qatar.

In addition to providing seamless services and quick deliveries for its clients' purchases, the business is a trailblazer, advancing the local tech economy by fostering innovation and revolutionizing regional online services.

In November 2020, Snoonu introduced its own 24-hour online food store, providing a variety of goods obtained locally and assisting Qatari business owners.

Due to its outstanding achievement, Snoonu was named one of Qatar's most backed startups by Forbes Middle East and the greatest entrepreneurial enterprise by "Najah Qatari."

Snoonu and Microsoft have collaborated to move their services to the Microsoft Azure Platform, increasing productivity and efficiency by utilizing the most cutting-edge technologies to offer a seamless customer experience.

The business wants to establish itself as Qatar's first super-app and a market leader in delivery services.
