The Ruler of Sharjah, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, attended the first international forum for teachers of the Arabic language and had announced the launch of the second batch of the “Teacher and I Am Proud” program at the Sharjah Academy for Education in the field of early childhood and the first teaching cycle, due to its close relationship to language and culture building of sons and daughters.

His Highness delivered a speech that included the meanings of pride in our Arabic language, stressing the importance of teaching the Arabic language to sons and daughters, and developing methods of teaching and endearing it to students, as it is the historical, cultural, and scientific reference for them, in addition to being the language of the Holy Qur’an, saying “Arabic is our belonging to this valuable religion, the Arabic language is the repository of our history, culture, and science, the Arabic language is what proves our faith in our religion, and the Arabic language is what unites us from the far east to the far west with a clear Arabic tongue.

His Highness addressed a message to teachers, saying, "Our sons and daughters are in charge of your hands, so improve their upbringing and teach them the love of the Arabic language", indicating the importance of the teacher having a level of culture, literature, and science in the Arabic language and its methods, and understanding that the child is young and has no knowledge.

His Highness urged parents to take care of their sons and daughters, follow up on them constantly, and make sure to speak correctly, as they are role models for their children and their first teachers.
