Saudi Arabia has been flooded due to heavy rains that hit several parts of the country, especially areas around Makka, Jeddah, and Rabigh. Other affected regions include Al Laith, Al Qunfudhah, Taif, Jamum, Khulais, Al Ardiyat, Maysan, Al Kamil, and Adham to name a few.
Due to the severe rain anticipated for the next few days, Saudi Arabia has decided that schools in some areas will remain closed on Monday.
Several users on Social Media have shared images and videos of their areas being affected by heavy rain and floods. A rainfall warning for many regions, ranging from moderate to heavy by The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) in Saudi Arabia.
