Films to be Screened at the JACC This September

The second edition of the Bahrain Film Festival was launched last Saturday under the auspices of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, with the participation of 49 short films in four competitions for short narrative films, documentaries, animation films, and Bahraini films

At the inauguration, the festival screened the long-running Saudi feature film “Kyan”, directed by Hakim Juma. Also, two Russian films will be shown on the sidelines of the events, along with 25 films from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, Sudan, Morocco, Tunisia, Iraq, and Syria.

The Festival is organizing a series of free training workshops in the areas of “screenwriting for beginners”, “how to choose actors”, “the importance and secrets of auditions”, “intellectual property rights in cinema” and “financial planning for the film industry”.
