The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development revealed that the participation rate of Saudi women in the labor market increased during the second quarter of 2022 AD to about 32.9%, while the economic participation rate for Saudi females over the age of 15 reached approximately 33.6%, which is an indication of the success of the efforts of the Ministry of Resources Humanity in supporting the empowerment of women in the labor market, according to what is planned and studied.
The ministry indicated that it has undertaken a number of initiatives in support of empowering Saudi women in the labor market, in addition to holding a number of workshops to empower women with the participation of sister agencies, program offices, and the World Bank.
