Al Ittihad won against Al Akhdoud with a score of 2-1 in the Saudi Pro League match on Thursday, Oct. 3.
The match took place at Prince Hathloul bin Abdul Aziz Sport City Stadium. Neither side scored in the first half of the match, but in the 50th minute, football star Karim Benzema scored the first goal for Al Ittihad with assistance from Moussa Diaby.
Houssem Aouar scored the second goal for Al Ittihad in the 89th minute with assistance from Steven Bergwijn. Although Al Akhdoud tried to match up with their opponents, they were only able to score one goal in the 90+5th minute, which was by Saleh Al Abbas.
Al Ittihad's next match is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 19.
