Saudi Film 'Norah' Screened at the Cannes Film Festival

Saudi film 'Norah' was screened at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival on Thursday, May 23. 

The director of the film Tawfik Alzaidi, producer Bandar Alabdulsalam, and the film's stars Maria Bahrawi, Abdullah Al-Sudhan, and Yaqoub Al-Farhan attended the film screening. 

The Chairwoman Jomana Al Rashid and CEO Mohammed Al Turki of the Red Sea Film Foundation were also at the film screening because the foundation has supported the film through the Red Sea Fund. 

The film's screening witnessed a large turnout of audience and critics. The team received a standing ovation at the theater after the film screening. 

Chairwoman Jomana Al Rashid and CEO Mohammed Al Turki also joined the team of 'Norah' at the Cannes red carpet for the premiere of the 'Le Comte de Monte-Cristo'.

'Norah' has made history by becoming the first film to be selected for the Cannes Film Festival. The film is part of the Un Certain Regard category. 

The Cannes Film Festival will run until Saturday, May 25.
