Qatar Museums Announced Cultural Events for June
Throughout June, Qatar Museums (QM) will organize a number of online interesting activities, asking members of the public to participate in virtual art workshops, film screenings, and guided tours.
Qatar's National Museum (NMoQ): Sunday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., take a virtual field trip: One hour is allotted for each session.
This cultural experience will allow the students in Qatar and throughout the world to explore NMoQ from the comfort of their classrooms. Participants will be able to communicate directly with their museum guide during the live virtual tour.
The following themes are available to schools: Life on the Coast in Qatar, Qatar's Modern History, Qatari Architecture, The Discovery of Black Gold, and Qatar's Transformation.
Arabic, English, French, Italian, Chinese, Spanish, Turkish, and German virtual tours are available.

School Virtual Art Workshop - Hourly sessions from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. every Thursday - Students in grades 1 through 9 have the opportunity to interact creatively with Qatar's culture and natural surroundings while learning artistic skills such as sketching, painting, and clay modeling. The training will be conducted in both Arabic and English.

Guided Tour: The Story of the Pearl Divers - June 17 and 24 (English) from 4 to 5 p.m., June 20 and 27 (Arabic) from 4 to 5 p.m. Participants will embark on a unique adventure in search of pearls, beginning with a search in the depths of the sea and concluding with a trade that had a significant impact on the lives of Qataris. Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art - An evening to honor Qatar's burgeoning national film industry, co-hosted by Mathaf and Doha Film Institute. Doors open at 4 p.m. on June 16. From 5 to 6 p.m., short films will be shown.
Join Mathaf for a riveting program of acclaimed short films, followed by a tour of the museum's world-class modern and contemporary art collection. Hope, The Artist: Yacoub Missi, 1001 Days, Stranger by Yasser Mustafa, Maha'mel by Dhabya AlMuhannadi, and Voices from the Urbanscape are among the films to be exhibited (Aswat Al-Umran Al-Hadeeth). Mathaf will host a storytime on June 18 from 4 to 5 p.m. The uplifting story of Jazara "Carrot," who discovers the joy of being a big brother to not one, but ten siblings, will enchant families and children.
