Hundreds of Yemenis in Yemen, a war-torn, poverty hit-country, who were in need of aid received it courtesy of a prosthetics center funded by the Saudi Arabia Agency.
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center are funding the project, which provides physical therapy and other services to aid those who have lost limbs to live a normal life.
In a span of a month, a total of 1,772 services, including the creation, delivery, installation, and upkeep of prosthetic limbs for 163 patients, were supplied by the Taiz governorate rehabilitation facility to 504 clients. Additional treatments like physical therapy and counseling sessions were also offered to more than 300 patients.
The Kingdom is making an effort to strengthen Yemen's health sector, and these services are a part of the initiative.
