Dubai has done it again! The deepest pool in the world has just opened in Dubai with a depth of 60.02 metres, and can hold 14 million litres of water. Deep Dive Dubai is located in Nad Al Sheba and is the equivalent of six Olympic-sized swimming pools.
The venue will also be home to the region’s largest underwater film studio, complete with a media editing room and a video wall. The new destination is perfect for social media enthusiast as divers will be able to explore an underwater world, complete with an abandoned streetscape, apartment, garage, arcade and other interesting features.
In addition, the sunken city includes two underwater habitats with a dry chamber, 56 underwater cameras covering all angles of the pool, and an underwater sound and mood lighting system.
Freediving and scuba diving experiences, along with courses, will be offered to people of all abilities by international diving professionals.
