The Urgent Care Services provided by PHCC play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of such services in a consistent manner, whenever and wherever patients may need them. People want to feel confident that "consistent" health care is accessible in their community.

By managing and operating several Health Centers around the state of Qatar, Primary Health Care Corporation aims to become the pioneer in transforming people's health and wellness there.

Many people around the nation seeking prompt and effective care for non-life-threatening medical issues are turning to the Urgent Care Services offered by the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC).

7 health centers are currently served by PHCC's 24-hour urgent care service

The 24-hour urgent care service is now provided by the Rawdat Al Khail, Al Rayyan, Al Kaaban, Al Sheehaniya, Al Ruwais, Muaither, Abu Bakr Al Siddiq, and Um Salal Health Centers. There will be 81,500 people seeking urgent care services at these eight medical facilities in 2021.

Patients receive non-life-threatening medical care at the health centers for conditions such as minor burns, sprains, severe headaches or earaches, dehydration, and dizziness.

Under the heading of urgent care services, PHCC offers a comprehensive service delivered by a professional team to address the community's urgent medical needs in a straightforward, accessible, quick, and efficient manner.

The PHCC earlier released a statement that said, "This is a part of Qatar's efforts, driven by enlightened leadership, to dedicate particular attention to the health sector as one of the crucial sectors that comprises a basic pillar of nation-building.

Additionally, PHCC has a mobile application. Qatari citizens can access a number of PHCC's mobile digital services by using the Nar'aakom app.

You can now use Nar'aakom to get information about your health care, including its number, expiration date, and chosen family doctor and medical center. You can also view your upcoming appointments and those of your dependents.

You can access many PHCC services online thanks to the #Naraakom application from the PHCC.

EMS will stabilize patients in critical condition before transporting them to Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) facilities for additional care. Any PHCC health facility will have the service available to registered patients.

The efficient provision of care to patients is made possible by the urgent care services provided by the PHCC in partnership with HMC. It emphasizes integrated care in line with the National Health Strategy 2018–2022.

As an integrated service, it seeks to provide the appropriate care at the appropriate location with the help of referral guidelines, care pathways, and evidence-based practice. It also works to support continuity and prompt access throughout the continuum of various settings and levels of care.
