Kuwait's Public Manpower Authority (PAM) has proposed allowing expatriate workers to transfer their residencies without the approval of the original sponsor in case of contract violations with the original sponsor.
Some sources have reported cases of contract violations, which has led to the development of this proposal.
This proposal was made to eliminate labor shortages without compromising workers' rights.
The proposal was also put forward to prevent the human trafficking of expat workers in Kuwait.
