According to the most recent numbers provided by the Ministry of Justice, from the beginning of the year to March 31, 18,898 Kuwaiti citizens and expatriates were subjected to a travel ban.
Al-Qabas obtained a copy of the statistics, which revealed that the Farwaniya Execution Department issued the most orders for travel bans with 4895, followed by Al-Ahmadi with 3658, Al-Jahra with 3086, Hawalli with 3004, the capital with 2784, and Mubarak Al-Kabeer with 1471.
Legal sources confirmed that traffic violations and marital expenditures account for the majority of the methods adopted to implement the travel ban.
Statistics on the orders to lift the travel ban showed that there were 10,657 orders during the same time period, with the Capital Implementation Department having the most with 3740 orders, Farwaniya having the second-most with 2183 orders, Al-Jahra having the third-most with 1608, Hawalli having the fourth-most with 1305, Al-Ahmadi having the least with 1288 orders, and Mubarak Al-Kabeer having the least with 1288 orders.
According to statistics, there were 1079 procedures for the family travel ban's implementation during the same time period, with the Hawalli Execution Department having the most with 322, followed by Farwaniya with 198 and Jahra with 187, the capital with 180, Al-Ahmadi with 112, and Mubarak Al-Kabeer having the least with 80 procedures.
