Formula 1 Redbull driver Max Verstappen wins the 2023 Qatar Grand Prix, securing his 14th win in 2023 on Sunday, Oct. 8.
Verstappen came second in the 2023 Qatar Grand Prix Sprint Race on Oct. 7 and he won his third Formula 1 World Championship.
McLaren driver Oscar Piastri secured second position, while McLaren's Lando Norris secured third position.
Mercedes' drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell collided during the race when Hamilton was attempting to go outside of his teammate through Turn 1.
Goerge Russell ended up in fourth position, while Hamilton watched the race from the sidelines following his collision.
Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz was not able to take part in the race because a fuel-related problem developed in Sainz' SF-23.
His teammate Charles Leclerc secured fifth position in Sunday's race.
Many drivers suffered from physical sickness during the race and after the race, which made the 2023 Qatar Grand Prix the most difficult race of 2023.
Nonetheless, Verstappen and the McLaren drivers still got to secure their positions on the podium despite the heat.
