In a special auction celebrating the 30th anniversary of Friends, iconic items from the show went under the hammer, with some fetching way more than expected.

Among the standout pieces was the legendary Central Perk orange couch, which sold for a whopping $29,250 (AED 107,000), shattering its original estimate 15 times over.
Another highlight was Matthew Perry's sweater, worn in the fan-favorite episode "The One with the Holiday Armadillo." The sweater, tied to Chandler Bing’s hilarious holiday moment, was sold for $6,500 (AED 24,000), more than six times its estimated value.
Additional items included clothes and props worn by guest stars. A pink outfit worn by Winona Ryder sold for $2,600 (AED 9,500), and Bruce Willis' white shirt fetched $3,250 (AED 12,000). Fans and collectors were clearly willing to pay big bucks to own a piece of TV history!
