Since it is the 'The Family Man' star's birthday today, did you know that Manoj Bajpayee rejected a role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Devdas', featuring Shahrukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, and Madhuri Dixit?

Bhansali, known for works like 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Gangubhai Kathiawadi', had offered Bajpayee a significant role in the period drama film.

The reason why Bajpayee rejected the role was that he did not want to play a supporting character in the film when he was accustomed to playing lead characters.

Bajpayee revealed in an interview with ETimes, "I've always wanted to play 'Devdas.' There have been a few adaptations, but no one thought of casting me. I would love to play that character. "

Bajpayee has been featured in well-known works like 'Aligarh' and 'Bhonsle' and received various accolades for his performances.

We wish Manoj Bajpayee a very happy birthday and many more successes in his career!
