People in Kuwait will be joyous to know that Kuwaiti athlete Yaqoub Al-Youha secured a gold medal in the 110-meter hurdle race on Monday during the 19th Asian Games in China.
Al-Youha completed the race in 13.41 seconds and shared the win with Japan's Shunya Takayama.
The bronze medal was given to China's Xu Zhuoyi.
Kuwait has now received a total of six medals at the 19th Asian Games including two golds, three silvers, and one bronze.
With this achievement, Al-Youha has become the pride of the people in Kuwait.
He has also become an inspiration for many aspiring athletes in Kuwait.
