His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad A1-Jaber A1-Sabah authorized the first humanitarian "Air Bridge" flight from Kuwait to Turkiye on Tuesday.

The flight was sent to assist Turkiye's victims of the devastating earthquake that struck Syria and Turkiye with the death toll exceeding 6000 people.

The General Fire Force chief, Lieutenant General Khaled A1-Mekrad, and the Turkish ambassador to the nation, Tuba Nur Sonmez, were present for the "air bridge launch, which also included members of the Kuwaiti army, the Red Crescent, the Ministry of Health, and the General Fire Force.
 

The Kuwaiti army took over responsibility for airlifting cadres, machinery, and equipment while the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs oversaw the air bridge's launch.
