Most Kuwaitis got married in the winter, according to the Central Statistical Administration, whereas the majority divorced in the summer, particularly around August.

According to information released by the office, the biggest number of divorces (644) was recorded in August and 640 in June, while 969 weddings between Kuwaitis were reported in March, 886 in February, 822 in December, and 814 in November.

In April, Kuwaiti couples were involved in the lowest number of marriages with over 486 cases, and divorces with around 409 cases.

8,307 divorce cases were filed in total during 2022, including 6,393 for husbands from Kuwait and 1914 for husbands from other countries.
