A Kuwaiti woman has been sentenced to three years in prison with hard labor for violating the State Security Crimes Law through her posts on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.  

Charges and Allegations  

The Criminal Court found her guilty of insulting the Emir, inciting the overthrow of the government, and misusing communication devices. Despite her claims of being coerced into making the posts under external threats, the court upheld the charges after its investigation.
